Get Ripped Quick with these Killer Abs Exercises
To get killer abs, your body needs to be lean first in order for them to show through. As you lose weight and body fat, there is a certain progression that the body goes through. Firstly, your forearms will get leaner, and then your face and arms. Then, the top two muscles in your abs will start to show through. Even though there are tons of workouts for your abs, the three exercises listed below will get you started looking fabulous in no time.

Planks
Planks are classic core and yoga exercises that aids with muscle tone in the lower abs. To do planks, lay down on your front with your arms outstretched but with your forearms planted firmly on the floor. It’s kind of like the top of a push up. You can’t move around so make sure you are satisfied with how far off the floor you are with just your toes and forearms to support you. Stay in this position for as long as possible. Because planks help to strengthen your core, you’ll have a rock hard set of abs in no time.
Side Planks
Side planks are a form of static exercise used for fortifying the abdominals, shoulders, and backs. This exercise will also help you gain a smaller waist. This is basically like the planks mentioned above, except you’re on your side instead of the front. Use the side of your forearm to balance you in a side plank. Try to maintain this position for as long as possible. Make sure you’re fixated and not moving about. Side planks reinforce your core strength, allowing you to develop massive six packs in no time.
Hanging Cork screws
Hanging cork screws utilize your leg muscles. Basically, you raise your legs to the sides instead of to the front. They help build up your lower abs. Firstly, hang onto a pull up or scaffold bar, and then lift your legs up to one side and then lower them again. Raise the legs on your other side to complete the rep. Make sure that you’re lifting your legs, they are as straight as can be and not slightly crooked or bent. If your legs are angled too much, then this exercise will not challenge you to your full potential.
